Mile High Workshop’s Mission is to create and support employment opportunities and provide job training for members of our community seeking to rebuild from addictions, homelessness, and incarceration. They envision a more prosperous city where barriers to employment are eliminated and every member of the community is empowered with dignity through meaningful work.
Mile High Workshops core values include:
EMPOWERING every person to be a positive contributor to our community
TRANSFORMING the spirituality, society, and economies of people and places
DIGNIFYING all people and believing that every voice matters
ENGAGING and unifying the local community
Jay Commuso started working with Mile High Workshop when he began to sell American Heroes Flags. 100% of the proceeds are donated to our American Heroes and their families on behalf of Heroes Memorial Foundation, Inc. Heroes stands for Helping Emergency Responders Overcome Extreme Situations. They are also made and donated to the families who have lost their loved Hero in the line of duty. These Heroes include Police, Corrections, Fire, EMS and Armed Forces. Jay started to utilize Mile High Workshop to build these flags so that he would be successful in keeping up with demand, along with helping another Nonprofit at the same time.
